EXTRA WAVY IS COMING LATE SUMMER.

We’re doing it again, but this time, it’s oysters, pasta, and some crizby-ass fish and chips.

From our team behind Yellowbelly and Lazy Tiger, Extra Wavy is opening late summer near Lafayette Square, in the old PW Pizza space. It’s our love letter to the East Coast oyster bar—but make it coastal European — think Amalfi energy with a splash of Atlantic grit.

There’s a raw bar. There’s house-made pasta. There’s even a lobster roll on a house made sourdough crunchy donut. We’re not reinventing the wheel—we’re just giving it a little sauce, a little swagger, and maybe a squeeze of lemon.

The cocktails still bang, but the wine list is stepping up hard—chilled reds, seafood-friendly crispy whites and big spritz energy.

Inside, it’s deep green and coral with little design surprises tucked into the corners. Old meets new. Classic meets chaos. It feels like it’s been there forever—but also brand new.

Similar energy as Yellowbelly: chill but dialed, sharp but welcoming. The kind of place where you can roll in with friends on a Wednesday and end up ordering a second bottle of wine just because the vibes are right.
